Under the direction of Mr. Jeff Zell, Environmental Chemist, Materials Engineer, Founder and President, JEFF ZELL CONSULTANTS, INC. has developed into one of the most widely respected full service testing, inspection, construction management and civil engineering companies in Western Pennsylvania.
Our Pittsburgh office, located in the Strip District section of downtown Pittsburgh, opened in July 2006. This location serves as the headquarters of ZELL ENGINEERS, INC. a wholly owned subsidiary, consisting of the Civil, Geotechnical and Environmental Groups. The Construction Management, Land Development Design and CADD Services also operate out of this office.
The Testing and Inspection Division continues to operate primarily from the Coraopolis, PA office. Our fully accredited, full service Materials Testing Laboratory is located at the Coraopolis location. Quality design does not have to be expensive. Combining the needs of the Client with innovative design and functional solutions requires creativity. Delivering the designs within a budget requires skill. Our staff of professional engineers, geologists, and surveyors are licensed in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia. Together this blend of talent and expertise allows Zell Engineers to offer its clients TOTAL BUSINESS SOLUTIONS.

For almost 25 years, JEFF ZELL CONSULTANTS, Inc. has earned a valued reputation for reliability and professionalism in the construction industry by providing testing services for concrete, asphalt and soils, as well as multi-dimensional engineering, construction management and inspection services. The company specializes in the field of “cold in place asphalt recycling” and soil stabilization.
As the firm continues to grow, from the current 70+ employees, office locations have been opened in Pittsburgh PA, Coraopolis, PA and Wheeling, WV to provide services throughout the tri-state region.
